The year's afflictions, and the renovation rule
2027 spreads its cautions across three sides of the home. The north takes the Five Yellow (五黃), the year's most avoided star. The southwest holds Tai Sui (太歲, the Grand Duke, in the Goat's own palace), and the opposite northeast takes Sui Po (歲破). The west carries both the Illness star 2 and the Three Killings (三煞). The behavioral rule is the same for all of them: do not disturb. Postpone renovation, drilling, and ground-breaking on the north, west, and southwest sides to a calmer year, and keep those sectors tidy.
